In a significant move, Arab nations have rejected the Palestinian displacement plan proposed by the Trump administration. The plan, which suggested the transfer of Palestinians from their land, has been met with strong opposition from Egypt and Jordan. The two countries, along with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Palestinian Authority, and the Arab League, have collectively rejected the idea of displacement under any circumstances. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has also rejected the suggestion of taking in residents of the Gaza Strip, stating that Egyptians would protest such a move. The Palestinian leadership has repeatedly rejected the suggestion of Palestinians leaving Gaza, citing their right to remain on their ancestral land. Jordan, which already hosts several million Palestinians, has also expressed its opposition to the plan. The Egyptian foreign ministry has rejected Trump's suggestion, stating that it is not a viable solution to the conflict. Meanwhile, Arab ministers have welcomed Egypt's plans to hold an international conference to rebuild Gaza, which has been devastated by years of conflict. The rejection of the Palestinian displacement plan marks a significant shift in the Arab world's stance on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and is likely to have far-reaching implications for the region.
