The Orionid meteor shower is expected to peak in the late night to early morning hours of Sunday and Monday. The shower will remain active until November 22. To get the best viewing conditions, it is recommended to have clear skies. However, the bright moon may hinder the visibility of the meteors. The ideal time for viewing is after midnight through before dawn on the mornings. To maximize the viewing experience, find a location far away from city or street lights and lie flat on your back, taking in as much of the sky as possible. It is also essential to allow your eyes to adapt to the dark for less than 30 minutes. With these tips, you can enjoy the spectacular Orionid meteor shower, which is the remnants of Halley's Comet.
