Pakistan is bracing for a spell of dry weather, with most parts of the country expected to experience little to no rainfall. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted hot temperatures, particularly in Sindh, where Hyderabad and Mithi are expected to reach up to 42 degrees Celsius. The city of Hyderabad is also forecasted to experience temperatures of 42 degrees Celsius. In addition to the dry conditions, a westerly wave is expected to impact the western and northern regions starting from Monday, which may bring some relief from the heat. The dry spell is a welcome respite for the country, which has been experiencing above-average rainfall in recent months. However, the hot temperatures are a cause for concern, especially for vulnerable populations such as the elderly and young children. The PMD has advised residents to take necessary precautions to stay hydrated and protect themselves from the heat. As the weather conditions continue to unfold, the PMD will provide regular updates to keep the public informed.
