Diphtheria Outbreak and Dengue Situation in K-P and Rawalpindi

A recent outbreak of diphtheria in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa has raised concerns among parents, with a total of 224 cases reported. Fortunately, no deaths have been reported due to the disease. In a separate development, the dengue situation in Rawalpindi remains critical, with 108 new cases reported, taking the total number of patients this year to 3840. Unfortunately, 8 dengue-related deaths have been reported. On a positive note, 3482 patients have been discharged from dengue treatment, with 341 still under treatment. The situation is being closely monitored by health authorities to prevent the spread of these diseases.
