Gandapur Requests Regular CCI Meetings

Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has requested Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to ensure regular meetings of the Council of Common Interests (CCI). The last CCI meeting was held in January this year, and it is crucial for addressing issues faced by the federating units and socio-economic development in Pakistan. According to the Constitution, CCI meetings are required to be held at least once every 90 days. The upcoming general elections are scheduled for February 8, and the oath-taking of assembly members-elect is set for February 28. Regular CCI meetings are essential for the effective governance and development of the country, and it is hoped that the Prime Minister will take Gandapur's request seriously and ensure that the meetings are held as per the constitutional requirements.
