Pakistan's Ongoing Efforts to Eradicate Polio

Pakistan has reaffirmed its commitment to becoming a polio-free country, despite the ongoing challenges posed by the disease. According to recent reports, around 40 polio cases have been reported across four provinces in the country. The province of Sindh has seen the highest number of cases, with 12 reported instances. To combat the spread of polio, a massive vaccination drive is underway, targeting over 10.6 million children. A total of 80,000 frontline workers have been deployed to administer the vaccine and raise awareness about the importance of immunization. The government's efforts are aimed at eliminating the disease and achieving the goal of a polio-free Pakistan.
